A Message from the Campaign Chair

In the vending, coffee service, and foodservice management industries we continue to face new challenges; whether it is a state tax issue, shifting marketplace trends for the vending and coffee service operator or the most recent focus on obesity. These issues are very real, and we must address them not only to survive, but to thrive and grow as professionals. Fortunately for us, the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) continues to be a strong voice in supporting our needs.

As a long standing NAMA member, Chairman Emeritus, and President of Prestige Services, Inc., I recognize that NAMA and the NAMA Foundation play a key role in developing professional tools not only to benefit its membership, but the industries they represent. For over 70 years NAMA has been in service, and continues to be committed to being proactive on important issues, as well as providing its members with marketplace development opportunities, legislative support, visionary education, and research. Valuable resources we can all benefit from.

Therefore, it is an honor for me to serve as the Campaign Chair for NAMA’s capital campaign "Endowing the Future." This effort is being launched to successfully overcome the latest challenges we face, and to preserve the vending, coffee service, and foodservice management industries.

I invite you to consider joining me, the NAMA Board of Directors, the NAMA Foundation Board of Directors, and our industry partners in supporting this important endeavor.

Sincerely,

J.E. "Eddie" Hicks, NCE
