QCCP – Quality Coffee Certificate Program
The Quality Coffee Certificate Program is entering its 14th year of educating operators about coffee, water and the important role both play in serving a quality coffee beverage. Over 1,000 individuals have completed the 2-day fee based course and recognize the difference it has made in their business. Two interactive workshops offer everyone a meaningful learning experience prior to the NAMA OneShow.

Coffee Fundamentals presents the development of coffee flavor qualities – from the rich history of coffee and its different countries of origin through processing, sorting, grading, blending and roasting. Experience original and blended coffees through a series of guided tasting exercises. In this session, you will gain a fundamental but extensive understanding of coffee production and manufacturing.

NEW! Coffee Brewing Technologies
New for 2014, the Single-Portion Evaluation Process will be introduced as part of the new Coffee Brewing Technologies workshop. This new segment will review the tools and methods used in the evaluations of the single-cup systems. This course introduces participants to the basic theory and principles governing the preparation of filtered coffee. The objectives are to explain and illustrate these principles through presentation of facts and through a series of guided tasting experiences resigned to illustrate the impact of brewing variables on flavor. Experience and taste how the slightest change in the brewing formula can alter the taste profile of the final cup.
