Frequently Asked Questions
NAMA OneShow Things to KnowWe have received great questions about the OneShow and felt many of you might be wondering the same thing so here goes... When is the next OneShow? Mark your calendars for April 27-29, 2011 for the next NAMA OneShow to be held in Chicago at McCormick Place in the beautiful North Hall B1. As you enter this building you will be greeted by dancing waters and a wide open Grand Concourse leading the way to another spectacular NAMA show. OneShow 2011 housing, registration and general information will be posted at www.NAMAOneShow.org soon. Please watch for announcements. Why not go back to Navy Pier? We enjoyed hosting the expo at Navy Pier as much as you did but with the launch of the OneShow, we just don’t fit there anymore. With the growth of the show floor, meeting space needs and other growth factors, McCormick Place is the best location for us when our show is in Chicago. When will the OneShow be in Las Vegas? We are thrilled to bring the OneShow to Las Vegas in 2012 and 2013. The 2012 dates are set for April 25-27 and 2013 will be May 1-3 at the fantastic Venetian/Sands Megacenter. This resort facility offers beautiful suites at the Venetian and Palazzo hotels with the Sands Expo Hall directly connected. Add dining, gaming, shopping and the Vegas strip location and you have the ultimate destination for the perfect NAMA OneShow all under one roof. What happened to Mandalay Bay? The contract demands at Mandalay Bay over the new late April dates required financial obligations we were not willing to ask our exhibitors or the association to take on. While we agree the facility was top notch, we found that the Venetian/Sands agreement was best suited for our needs. How are the keynote speakers funded? Keynote speakers are hired to enhance the overall experience of the OneShow. The presence of these speakers helps attract attendees, entertain and educate the audience. This investment is supported solely through exhibitor fees and sponsorships. NAMA membership dollars are not used in the funding or marketing of any of the OneShow.
